About Yana

Hi, I’m Yana — the owner and curator behind VelichCO. I was born in Ukraine and moved to the United States when I was nine years old. Starting over in a new country at such a young age shaped so much of who I am today—it taught me resilience, adaptability, and how to find confidence even when everything around me felt unfamiliar.
Through every stage of life, fashion became more than just clothing for me. It was a way to express myself, to feel grounded, and to hold onto a sense of beauty and identity no matter what I was going through.
Now, as a mama of three, I understand how full life can be. Between the busy days, the challenges, and the constant changes, it’s easy to put yourself last. That’s why I created VelichCo—to make getting dressed feel effortless, elevated, and empowering. I want every woman to have pieces she can reach for with ease—styles that make her feel confident, comfortable, and put together without overthinking it.
